Young Thug and Future Come Together to Create ‘Money on Money’ Single: Listen Now

The Super Slimey pair has come back together. Young Thug returns with his inaugural track since being released from incarceration in October, as the Future-featured “Money on Money” dropped on Friday (April 25).

“Money on Money” is scheduled to feature on Thugger’s forthcoming UY SCUTI record, which is speculated to release on May 9, marking exactly three years since Thug and 27 others were indicted and taken into custody on RICO accusations.

Young Thug confirmed “Money on Money” with a short 10-second teaser posted on X on Thursday (April 24) featuring the YSL emblem encircled by flames.

Before “Money on Money” was released on streaming platforms, Thug largely kept a low profile for much of the initial four months of 2025, apart from featuring on Lil Baby’s “Dum, Dumb, and Dumber” alongside Future.

Future and Thug have a rich history of collaborations as two of the prominent rappers based in Atlanta. They previously collaborated on the Super Slimey mixtape in 2017, which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200.

Additional notable collaborations from their portfolios include “Relationship,” Gunna’s “Pushin P,” Drake’s “Way Too Sexy” and “Sup Mate.”

After spending over two years imprisoned during Georgia’s longest trial, Thug regained his freedom following a plea agreement  on Halloween that resulted in a 15-year probation sentence for the rapper.

Earlier in April, Thug announced UY SCUTI on X and opened the album’s official online store that features vinyl records, CDs, and merchandise bundles.

“It’s Time. Red Planet,” he commented along with the link to the UY SCUTI store. As per Nine Planets, Uy Scuti is a supergiant red star located in the Scutum constellation.
