Ye has released a new track that apparently features Sean “Diddy” Combs alongside his daughter North West.
On Saturday (March 15), the 47-year-old artist — previously known as Kanye West — utilized his X account to share the song titled “Lonely Roads Still Go to Sunshine.”
“LONELY ROADS STILL GO TO SUNSHINE new track by PUFF DADDY featuring his son KING COMBS, my daughter NORTH WEST, and emerging Yeezy artist from Chicago, Jasmine Williams,” the provocative artist captioned the post.

The nearly five-minute song begins with what seems to be a telephonic exchange between Ye and Diddy, who is currently in jail and facing various charges, including sex trafficking.

“I really appreciate you for taking care of my kids, man,” a voice that sounds like Diddy says. “Nobody has reached out to them, nobody has called them.” Ye responds, “Definitely, I care for you immensely, man. You brought me up. Even when I didn’t know you, you know what I mean?”
West’s 11-year-old daughter North also contributes to the track, rapping, “Doing everything I wished for, that’s the key to life/ When you see me shining, then you see the light.”
Prior to dropping “Lonely Roads Still Go to Sunshine,” West uploaded now-deleted images on X of messages exchanged between him and North’s mother, Kim Kardashian, as reported by TMZ. In the messages, Kardashian allegedly informed her ex-husband that she had trademarked their daughter’s name to prevent the song’s release.
“I asked you back then if I could trademark her name. You agreed. When she turns 18, it transfers to her. So cease,” Kardashian supposedly wrote. “I sent the paperwork over so she wouldn’t be in the Diddy song to safeguard her. One person needs to hold the trademark!” The reality television star further stated, “We had agreed that when they both were born, I would get all of our children’s names and trademarks, so no one else could claim them.”
The artist retorted, “Change it, or I’m going to war. Neither of us will recover from the public backlash. You’re going to have to take my life.”
Ye, who has faced criticism in recent months for his hate-filled, antisemitic statements on social platforms, has recently supported Diddy. In February, West called upon President Donald Trump to liberate the beleaguered hip-hop mogul. “Free Puff,” Ye exclaimed in all capitals on X, later adding, “@realDonaldTrump please free my brother Puff.”
Diddy was arrested in September and is presently in custody without bail, anticipating a federal trial in New York on charges including racketeering, sex trafficking, and transportation for the purpose of prostitution. Prosecutors assert he orchestrated a complicated scheme in which he “abused, threatened, and coerced women and others surrounding him to satisfy his sexual desires.”
In addition to his latest track, Ye shared an image on X on Saturday that he claims will feature as the cover for his forthcoming album. The image showcases a red Nazi swastika on a black background. It remains unclear if this is associated with the anticipated release of his Bully album, which he hinted at the beginning of 2025. While the rapper appeared to have intentions to unveil the project sometime this year, it is still uncertain if the album will indeed be released.
