The Nigerian superstar released his sixth studio album, Morayo, on November 22 through Starboy Entertainment and RCA Records. Morayo, meaning “I see joy” in Yoruba, is a tribute to his late mother, Juliana Morayo Balogun, who passed away in August 2023.
“Best album I ever created!! Now it’s time to listen! We’re only going up from here!” Wiz tweeted last July.
The 16-track album features previously released singles “Piece of My Heart” featuring Brent Faiyaz, “Kese (Dance)” along with collaborations with Asake (“Bad Girl”), Tiakola (“Apres Minuit”), Jazmine Sullivan (“Bad for You”) and Anaïs Cardot (“Slow”). Morayo reached No. 98 on the Billboard 200 and No. 4 on World Albums.
Ticket sales begin with an artist presale on Wednesday (March 12) at 12 p.m. local time. General sales commence this Friday, March 14, at 10 a.m. local time through his official website.
