Grunge legends Pearl Jam launched their North American tour in Vancouver, BC last night, May 04th. In addition to rolling out the live debut of numerous cuts from their latest album “Dark Matter“, not everything went as smoothly as the band hoped. Whilst performing the song “Porch” from their diamond-certified debut album “Ten“, guitarist Mike McCready took an unexpected tumble off the stage.
Unfortunately for McCready, at least one fan had the camera rolling during the incident. To his credit, he barely missed a beat, even if he missed a step. He admirably continued with the song whilst being helped back to his feet by one of the band’s stage crew. Footage of that is available below.
