Travis Kelce has shared that he’s been to his last Eras Tour gig to cheer on his girlfriend, Taylor Swift. The NFL ace was among the 70,000 fans at Lucas Oil Stadium on Saturday night, as Swift’s two-year tour is set to wrap up with a final stint in Canada this winter.
Kelce, who’s been Swift’s beau for just over a year, has been seen supporting the songstress at various dos during their time together. He even boogied with her on stage at Wembley but won’t be at any future shows.
Swift’s Indy gig on Saturday was the second of a trio there. She’s now off for a breather before belting out tunes at six gigs in Toronto and three in Vancouver from November 14 to December 8.
Fresh from the crowd in Indianapolis, Kelce spilled the beans on the New Heights podcast, which he runs with his bro Jason, about what it’s like to hit one of the last US concerts. “I wanted to see Tay one more time before this thing got closed up,” said the 35 year old.
“And I’ll tell you what, man – the American crowds, they did not disappoint. I heard that it was a lot more rowdy this time around, knowing she was coming back to stop through America one last time before the tour was over with. And, man, that thing was rocking.”
At the concert, Kelce ran into WNBA sensation Caitlin Clark. The thrice Super Bowl champ let slip that the hoopster is a die-hard “Swiftie”, hauling her nearest and dearest along to get down to Swift’s hits.
Clark has quickly become one of America’s top sports sensations due to an extraordinary first season with the Indiana Fever. At just 22, she’s also a big music enthusiast.
Kelce noted, “She was into the show, for sure. She’s a Swiftie through and through,” also adding, “I think she’s just having fun, going and taking her friends and family and getting everyone to experience Tay up there on stage, making the entire 70,000 people go nuts for three and a half hours.”
He commented further, “[Caitlin’s] awesome. She loves being out there in Indianapolis. We’re both just true Midwesterners to the heart. You know, played high school ball, college ball, pro ball, all out here in the Midwest, so it was cool catching up with her.”
