Trace Adkins Shares New Song ‘That Someday’ From ‘Day Of Reckoning’
Trace Adkins recently released a new song, “That Someday,” from the film Day of Reckoning.
Adkins wrote the song with his frequent collaborator Casey Beathard. Mickey Jack Cones produced the track.
The song, which is described as a “dusty revenge ballad,” plays over the closing credits of the action film in which Adkins plays Big Buck.
“Today is that someday, that one day I’ve been waiting on, that what goes around comes back around time to face the music song,” Adkins declares in the chorus and issues a warning, “The devil’s darkest fear is finally here.”
Shaun Silva directed Day of Reckoning, in which Adkins appears alongside Zach Roerig, Cara Jade Myers, Billy Zane, Yelawolf, Struggle Jennings and more.
