Tiger Woods responded curtly to those who criticized his relationship with Vanessa Trump.
Woods’ relationship with Trump went public in late March, with his children, Sam and Charlie, in full support of their father dating Donald Trump Jr.’s ex-wife. In a social media post announcing his relationship with Trump, Woods also requested privacy for those close to the golfing legend and his new partner.
As the 49-year-old continues his relationship with Trump, with the pair also setting themselves strict PDA rules, those close to the star have brought up concerns that associating himself with someone close to the president could affect him. In response to those concerns, Woods had a simple four-word answer.

“F— what people think,” Woods replied curtly to fears that dating a Trump could negatively affect him, a source close to the golfer told the Daily Mail. The insider also said that Woods is apolitical and while dating someone from a political family could signal his political leanings, the 49-year-old is unconcerned with the general public’s perception.
“He didn’t care one bit,” the insider continued. “You can’t really tell Tiger to do something he doesn’t want to do. And he felt like this was an important enough relationship to go public with. If someone has a problem, that’s on them, not him. He still doesn’t think of it as being anything political – she’s his girlfriend who happens to have the Trump last name.”
After originally announcing his relationship with Trump, Woods has remained low-key, rarely posting about the relationship. Even his post telling the world he was in a relationship with the 47-year-old was short and to the point, seemingly carefully crafted as not to rustle any feathers with the announcement.

“Love is in the air and life is better with you by my side! We look forward to our journey through life together. At this time we would appreciate privacy for all those close to our hearts,” Woods’ Instagram post from March 23 read. The golfer’s children also were told about the relationship, with a source claiming the two children “liked” Trump.
With Woods dating Donald Trump Jr.’s ex-wife, President Donald Trump made his thoughts clear on a friend of his dating someone he is familiar with. Speaking with reporters as he was signing executive orders, Trump stated: “I love Tiger and I love Vanessa.
“Tiger actually called me a few months ago. I have a very special relationship with Tiger. He’s a fanatic guy. I said, ‘Tiger that’s good. I’m very happy for both.'”

During the same conversation, the 78-year-old claimed the reason why Donald Trump Jr.’s marriage failed was because of his supposed ties with Russia during Donald Trump’s first team in office. “They [Donald Jr. and Vanessa] had a great relationship,” Trump continued.
“I happen to think the relationship with my son was hurt very badly with the witch hunt. ‘Russia, Russia, Russia’. All the c— they put Don through. Vanessa and Don have a great relationship. Five great children. They broke up quite a while ago, which to me was very sad.”
What’s more, the 47-year-old recently showed her support for Woods on social media. After Woods partnered with Augusta National, Trump was quick to repost the announcement on her Instagram page, tagging the 49-year-old’s TGR Foundation.
