The National’s Matt Berninger Announces Series Of Intimate U.K. Solo Shows
The National‘s Matt Berninger has announced a series of intimate U.K. solo shows.
Sean O’Brien, who produced Berninger’s upcoming album Get Sunk, and Julia Laws, also known as Ronboy, will join The National frontman for the live shows, beginning in Dublin, Ireland, on August 23. Both of them also appear on his upcoming album.
The U.K. solo shows will be followed up by a series of concerts in European cities.
Meanwhile, Berninger has scheduled a North American tour this spring, kicking off in Seattle on May 19.
Berninger shared “Bonnet Of Pins,” a track from the album, earlier in March.
Get Sunk is scheduled for release on May 30 via Concord/Book Records.
Fans can join Berninger at the KEF Music Gallery in London on April 4 for a special one-off event to celebrate the release of his second solo album.
The evening will consist of a Q+A between Matt and BBC Radio presenter Huw Stephens and a unique listening experience featuring unreleased tracks from Get Sunk in KEF’s Ultimate Experience Room.
