Multi-platinum pop sensation Tate McRae has announced her highly anticipated third album, So Close To What, will be released February 21 via RCA Records.
Through unfiltered lyricism and raw emotions, So Close To What represents the journey of growing up when the road ahead feels infinite and the destination increasingly elusive. It’s an introspective exploration of self-discovery, love, and searching for balance in moments of uncertainty.
Pre-order the album now at Tate’s Official Online Store at https://tatemcrae.lnk.to/Store. Products include limited quantities of the Exclusive Vinyl including 1 of 4 Collectable Signed Poster Variants, Signed CDs, and Cassettes.
Following the announcement of the new album, Tate shared her new song “2 hands” and an accompanying music video.
“2 hands” follows the irresistible “It’s ok I’m ok,” which earned the star her highest-charting debut on the Billboard Hot 100 and has garnered more than 165 million global streams so far.
Next year, Tate will embark on a world tour spanning 50 dates throughout South America, Europe, the U.K., and North America. Produced by Live Nation, the Miss Possessive Tour kicks off on March 18 at Pepsi Centre in Mexico City, followed by shows in SĂŁo Paulo, London, Amsterdam, Prague, New York, Nashville, and many more before wrapping up at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles on September 26.
Benee will be joining as support on all Europe and U.K. dates while Zara Larsson will join Tate across all US and Canada dates.
American Express is providing Card Members access to Amex Presale Tickets for shows in North America, U.K. and select European markets, available for purchase at https://www.tatemcrae.com/amex/ starting November 19, before the general public on-sale.
