Shakira’s Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour has officially begun. The Colombian icon launched her Latin American tour on Tuesday (Feb. 11) at the Estádio Olímpico Nilton Santos in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Her eagerly awaited performance followed her Grammy appearance on Feb. 2, where she showcased “Ojos Así” and her latest track “Shakira: Bzrp Music Session, Vol. 53,” and received the award for best Latin pop album for her 2024 LP Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran.
Organized by Live Nation, the tour will proceed with concerts in São Paulo, Brazil (Feb. 13); Lima, Peru (Feb. 16-17); her birthplace of Barranquilla, Colombia (Feb. 20-21); as well as stops in Santiago, Chile (March 2-3), Buenos Aires, Argentina (March 7-8), and various cities across Mexico.
The “Hips Don’t Lie” star will then begin the North American section of her tour this spring, kicking off on May 13 in Charlotte, N.C., at Bank of America Stadium. The tour will visit Montreal, Toronto, Miami, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and many other locations, finishing on June 30 in San Francisco, Calif., at Oracle Park. This tour promotes her twelfth album, Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran by Sony Music, which debuted at the top of both the Top Latin Albums and Latin Pop Albums charts, making Shakira the first female artist to achieve No. 1 albums across four decades. The album also peaked at No. 12 on the prestigious Billboard 200.
