Shaboozey‘s “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” has topped the Billboard Hot 100 for the seventeenth total week, securing the longest reign by an artist with no accompanying credited acts in the chart’s 66-year history.
“A Bar Song (Tipsy)” broke the tie with Morgan Wallen‘s “Last Night” at 16 weeks by ranking No. 1 on the chart dated November 16.
Lil Nas X‘s “Old Town Road,” featuring Billy Ray Cyrus, holds the record for the longest No. 1 run at 19 weeks.
The track, from the singer-songwriter and record producer’s latest album Where I’ve Been, Isn’t Where I’m Going, earned 70.7 million radio airplay audience impressions, 21.2 million official streams and sold 5000 units in the U.S. in the tracking week ending on November 7.
The track also extended its supremacy on the Hot Country Songs chart to a 21st week and holds for a 15th week at No. 1 on the Radio Songs chart.
“A Bar Song (Tipsy)” is followed by Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars‘ “Die With a Smile” at No. 2, Billie Eilish‘s “Birds of a Feather” at No. 3, Sabrina Carpenter‘s “Espresso” at No. 4, and Teddy Swims‘ “Lose Control” at No. 5 on the latest Billboard Hot 100.
