Saosin have peeled off live cover videos of “Pitiful” by Swedish alternative metal outfit Blindside, and “Seven” by vaunted emo rockers Sunny Day Real Estate. Both of those renditions, which find the band fronted by returning vocalist Cove Reber and their past vocalist Anthony Green, were filmed last June.
They were captured amid a two-day live event the post-hardcore band held at the Garden Amphitheatre in Garden Grove CA. Those concerts were staged in celebration of the group’s 20th anniversary. Reber takes on the Blindside cover, while Green assumes the vocal duties on “Seven“. That 23-song live set will be released as “Live At The Garden Amphitheater” on June 22nd and is set to run as follows:
