French metalcore band Resolve have put up a video for their new song “Sandman“. You can check out that clip below, with the song itself headed for the ‘extended cut’ deluxe edition of their latest album, “Human“, due out October 25th. Bassist Robin Mariat relayed of this track:
“Some months ago, Anthony went through an episode of sleep paralysis. If you’re lucky enough to have never experienced it, imagine waking up in the dead of night with a terrifying figure looking over you, and being unable to move or ask for help. The next day, Anthony came up with the demo for ‘Sandman‘ — originally named ‘Sleep Paralysis.’ That probably explains the nightmarish vibe of the track. The choruses though, are epic and hopeful, a reminder that even in the darkest moments of our lives, there will always be something or someone to lift us up and bring us back into the light.”
