Popular former fan-favorite Notre Dame Fighting Irish quarterback Sam Hartman will find out over the course of the next few days if and where he will be plying his trade next season.
Hartman has a great chance of being drafted to the NFL, but he does undeniably face some stiff competition. The QB role is often the most sought-after, given it is one of (if not the) most important positions.
Known for his incredible ability on the pitch, Hartman also boasts a massive social media following, with the athlete known for his luscious locks.
In somewhat poetic circumstances, Hartman threw four touchdowns for the Fighting Irish in Dublin back in 2023, tying a program record for touchdown passes in a player’s debut.
ESPN’s Jordan Reid ranked Hartman as the 10th most likely QB to be drafted, largely due to his impressive performances with Notre Dame and Wake Forest.
While the draft can throw up surprises, and it almost certainly will again this year, Hartman should be a lock for a team in the market for a quarterback.
The NFL draft gets underway on 25 April.
