Nicki Minaj has announced plans to release a deluxe edition of Pink Friday 2.
The rapper recently took to X to share the news with her fans. Although she didn’t reveal a date for the release, she said that she would keep her fans “posted” with any updates.
“I love it so much. I’ll be performing 2-3 songs from this version of the album on the PF2 #GagCityReloaded TOUR,” she explained, before adding, “Barbz… Thanku for inspiring me. Love you.”
Pink Friday 2 is Minaj’s fifth studio album. It was released on December 8, 2023, her 41st birthday, through Young Money Entertainment and Republic Records.
The record was a sequel to Minaj’s debut album Pink Friday (2010) and was also her first studio album in five years following the release of Queen (2018).
Collaborations on the album include J. Cole, Drake, Lil Wayne, Future, Lil Uzi Vert, 50 Cent, Monica, Keyshia Cole, and various other collaborators.
Upon its release, Pink Friday 2 debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, making Minaj the first female rapper in history to have three No. 1 albums. It earned over 228,000 album-equivalent units in its first week.
