Mumford & Sons have announced their first new album in seven years, Rushmere.
Rushmere, a follow-up to 2018’s Delta, is set to arrive on March 28 via Gentlemen of the Road Records/Island. The band also released the album’s title track.
Co-produced with Dave Cobb, Rushmere marks the London band’s first full-length release as a trio, now comprising Marcus Mumford, Ted Dwane and Ben Lovett. Banjo player Winston Marshall left the group in 2021 after receiving backlash for praising a right-wing U.S. journalist, Andy Ngo.
In 2024, Mumford & Sons released a single called “Good People” in collaboration with Pharrell Williams.
