Morgan Wallen and Post Malone are collaborating once more, unveiling their freshly released second track, “I Ain’t Comin’ Back.”
Last year, the duo achieved significant success with “I Had Some Help,” which dominated both pop and country charts, holding the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100 for six weeks and remaining No. 1 on Country Airplay for four weeks. This track, featured on Post Malone’s country project F-1 Trillion, also claimed the top position on Billboard‘s 2024 Songs of the Summer chart.
Currently, they are poised to potentially conquer the charts again with this new collaboration. The song was co-written alongside Louis Bell, HARDY, ERNEST, and Ryan Vojtesak.
“I Ain’t Comin’ Back” will appear on Wallen’s forthcoming album I’m the Problem, set to release on May 16 via Big Loud/Mercury. Earlier this week, Wallen revealed several collaborators featured on the album. In addition to his new track with Post Malone, the extensive 37-track album will include contributions from Tate McRae (on “What I Want”), Eric Church (“Number 3 and Number 7”), HARDY (“Come Back as a Redneck”), and ERNEST (“The Dealer”).
Trending on Billboard
Wallen is a co-writer on 22 tracks of the new album, and fans have already received a sneak peek at the project through a few songs that have been released, including “Love Somebody” and “Lies Lies Lies.”
In the meantime, Post Malone recently headlined at Coachella and shared with Billboard that he’s developing a new project in Nashville, mentioning that he has “created probably 35 songs; it’s all about determining which ones hit and which ones don’t.” He is also preparing to embark on the Big Ass Stadium Tour alongside Jelly Roll.
