Michael Strahan appeared to be at his wits’ end with Terry Bradshaw’s antics on “FOX NFL Sunday”.
In the weekend piece, the crew delved into various NFL developments, highlighting the Week 6 showdown between the Detroit Lions and Dallas Cowboys. Strahan opened the discussion with high praise for defensive standout Aidan Hutchinson, dubbing him “one of the biggest difference-makers” in the game.
Strahan extolled Hutchinson, saying: “After the bye week, [Hutchinson is] still leading the league in sacks with six-and-a-half. And the [quarterback] pressures,” but Bradshaw cut him off mid-sentence, interjecting with a reference to a previous jest: “I did the song already. Pressure!”

Before this light-hearted exchange, Bradshaw had inexplicably launched into a rendition of Queen’s “Under Pressure” while discussing the Patriots’ decision to swap out veteran Jacoby Brissett in favor of rookie Drake Maye.
Bradshaw voiced his disapproval of the change: “It’s a terrible move,” standing by Brissett’s efforts despite adversity. “That’s a horrible offensive line. The one keyword there is pressure. Freddie Mercury of Queen, remember the song? Pressure! Coming down… you will remember the tune? Drake Maye will be under pressure. This is a bad move.”
Bradshaw’s singing attempt didn’t go down well with his mates, with Strahan jumping in to strongly advise against a repeat performance. “Please don’t do that. Please don’t do that again,” he warned Bradshaw, suggesting there could be legal consequences for butchering the tune.
Long joined Strahan in mocking Bradshaw’s woeful ballad attempt. “Freddie Mercury’s rolling over [in] his grave,” he joked, drawing chuckles all round.
As Strahan had foreseen, the Lions decimated the Cowboys on their own turf, clinching an overwhelming 47-9 win. Yet, it was a victory tinged with sadness, as Hutchinson endured a third-quarter setback which saw him exit the game.
Attempting to take down Cowboys’ Prescott, Hutchinson collided with his team-mate McNeill, causing him to reel in agony on the pitch. A fractured tibia was the solemn assessment, spelling the end of the season for Hutchinson, who now faced surgery.
Taking to social media to acknowledge the flood of support, Hutchinson expressed his appreciation and shared the positive outcome of his surgery. “In light of Aidan’s injury last night, we want to thank you all for the outpouring of love and well wishes,” his statement read.
“Your support through this shocking situation means so much to our family. We are blessed to share that Aidan’s surgery was a success. Thank you to the doctors and nurses who have taken such good care of him. Aidan wants you all to know that his healing and redemption story has begun. He is holding the motto of Detroit close to his heart: resurget cineribus. He will rise from the ashes.”
