Mase is pondering whether to show up at Diddy‘s forthcoming trial.
The ex-Bad Boy artist kicked off a recent episode of his sports talk show It Is What It Is by soliciting viewers for their opinions on whether he should attend or not. “I wanna put it out to the fans,” he remarked. “I’ll let the fans decide — unless you want to cast your vote, Killa. They’re urging me to show up at the Diddy trial. Do you think I should make it this week?”
His co-host Cam’ron then humorously responded, “It’s your call; I’m not sure about your relationship. What is y’all’s dynamic?” Mase went on to disclose that some individuals have reached out to him inquiring about his attendance and that he was genuinely contemplating his question. “Nah, just a few people contacted me to see if I was going. I was trying to find a way to go at least for a day,” he told Cam, who then inquired why Mase hadn’t attended the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards where Diddy was honored with the Global Icon Award.
“Why didn’t you go to the MTV lifetime achievement award when he received it?” Cam asked, causing the entire studio to erupt in laughter. “Because I noticed his son performing all y’all’s parts in the song. Why didn’t you attend that?”

Mase then questioned Cam about why he couldn’t simply respond to the inquiry. “What’s the question? If I’m attending? I’ll go with you if you’re going. Yeah, I’mma go with you,” he replied. “Just me going solo? Nah, I ain’t rolling out by myself.”
The conversation then circled back to the MTV VMAs after their co-host Treasure “Stat Baby” Wilson remarked it was a humorous question. “How do you feel about that? Now that I think about it, when somebody else dresses like you, with the hat flipped back, and spins around on stage,” Killa asked, to which Murda responded, “I consider it flattering. I think it’s a positive thing.”
Diddy’s trial is scheduled to commence on Monday, May 5.
