Following its initial physical release earlier this week, multi-platinum shock rocker Marilyn Manson has now digitally released his cover of Phil Collins‘ 3x platinum 1981 hit single “In The Air Tonight“. Both that rendition and its b-side “As Sick As The Secrets Of (Sleep)” are now streaming below.
Manson has been involved with dozens of covers over the years and has found considerable success in doing so. His takes on the likes of Eurythmics‘ “Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This)“, Depeche Mode‘s “Personal Jesus” and the Ed Cobb-penned soul turned synth pop hit “Tainted Love” all remain amongst his most popular songs on digital service providers.
Manson himself has been in and out of court for the past few years, facing off against various civil lawsuits and allegations. Last year he set out to relaunch his music career, which was put on pause as a result of the various disturbing claims made against him since 2021. His touring plans at the moment run as follows:
