Long live Mac Miller.
Mac Miller’s estate releases a previously released “The Quest” on digital streaming platforms.
Anchored by a hypnotic production by Larry Fisherman, his producing alias, the late rapper shares an introspective look at a relationship.
“We try to live in this lie / Holidays that go by, let ’em drink, a man is still dry,” he raps. “So I’m makin’ these calls / Keep my eyes to the sky, you know I’m takin’ it all / Been knocked down, but I got up swinging / Wide awake, my phone stay ringing.”
As of today, “The Quest” was only available on the vinyl edition of last year’s 10th-anniversary reissue of Miller’s 2013 album Watching Movies With The Sound Off.
