Lana Del Rey and Quavo recently shared their new collab, “Tough,” along with an accompanying music video.
The song is set to feature on Del Rey’s upcoming country album, Lasso, which is likely to arrive in September.
Del Rey and Quavo co-directed the video with Wyatt Spain Winfrey. The visual shows the two artists dancing together while singing the song and playing guitar on a cottage porch.
The visual also finds Del Rey and Quavo getting intimate in the countryside, cuddling in the grass fields. While Lana is seen with a guitar, Quavo pulls out his shotgun and teaches her some proper aim.
“Tough like the scuff on a pair of worn leather boots/ Like a blue collar, red dirt attitude/ Like a .38 made out of brass/ Tough like the stuff on your grandpa’s glass,” they sing together in the chorus.
Andrew Watt and Cirkut co-produced “Tough.” Del Rey and Quavo first performed the track live onstage during Lana’s concert at Fenway Park in Boston on June 20th.
