Kendrick Lamar & SZA’s ‘Luther’ Earns Sixth Straight Week Atop Billboard Hot 100
Kendrick Lamar and SZA‘s “Luther” remains atop the Billboard Hot 100 for the sixth week in a row.
“Luther” marked Lamar’s sixth chart topper and SZA’s third No. 1 on the Hot 100.
The track earned 58.3 million radio airplay audience impressions, 26.3 million official streams and 3,000 sold in the United States in the tracking week ending on March 27.
“Luther,” titled after R&B and soul singer Luther Vandross, also tops the Streaming Songs, Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and Hot Rap Songs charts.
The song contains a sample of Vandross and Cheryl Lynn‘s 1982 rendition of “If This World Were Mine.” The track was released as the third single from Lamar’s sixth studio album, GNX, on November 29.
“Luther” is followed by Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars‘ “Die With a Smile” at No. 2, Shaboozey‘s “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” at No. 3, Morgan Wallen‘s “Just in Case” making its debut at No. 4, and Chappell Roan‘s “Pink Pony Club” at No. 5.
The Hot 100 blends all-genre U.S. streaming (official audio and official video), radio airplay and sales data.
