The progressive rock band Kaipa, originally from Sweden and inspired by folklore, are excited to unveil their upcoming album, Sommargryningsljus. Exactly 49 years following the launch of their first album, the band anticipates the release of their 15th album, Sommargryningsljus. The release will be made through InsideOutMusic, on June 28th, 2024.
The unveiling comes alongside the launch of the album’s first single, which is a blend of both the initial and final song of Sommargryningsljus, subsequently dubbed “Sommargryningsljus (Single Edit)”. This single edit version allows listeners to experience two songs from the album together, the introductory track Sommarskymningsljus and the concluding track Sommargryningsljus, in their original format.
The song revolves around the theme of twilight and a voyage through the night to encounter daylight once more at sunrise. The track is accompanied by a lyric video that perfectly captures the magical aura of dusk, and provides a sneak peek into the unique aesthetics and artwork of the album.
