The Find Your Light Foundation (FYLF), established by Josh Groban, revealed that during its latest grant cycle, it has distributed over $1.25 million to 189 nonprofit entities across 33 states, benefitting more than 300,000 K-12 students with arts education.
Beyond its regular grant distributions, FYLF has also allocated special grants to The Last Repair Shop Fund and the Music Rising National Disaster Relief Fund to aid in their mission to revive music programs and assist music students and educators affected by the wildfires in Los Angeles.
The comprehensive list of grantees features organizations engaging youth in theater, dance, music, visual arts, and literacy initiatives. Grants are chosen through a competitive evaluation process. Funding is sourced from the foundation’s supporters.

Groban, aged 44, founded FYLF in 2011 with the mission to enhance the lives of young individuals through arts, education, and cultural awareness.
“These grantees showcase the remarkable work being undertaken by teaching artists and educators worldwide to motivate students to delve into their creative abilities and aspirations – particularly in neighborhoods and cities where arts funding may not always extend to those students experiencing the most need,” Groban stated in a release. “I attribute my career to the incredible teachers who opened the door to arts and creativity for me, and I’m honored to give back through the efforts of the board and team at this important foundation.”
FYLF Foundation executive director Jeffrey Dollinger remarked: “This year’s selection of grant recipients was derived from the highest number of applications for assistance that we have ever encountered.”
The Find Your Light Foundation is committed to guaranteeing that every child has the chance to engage in a quality arts education. This is achieved through direct support of arts initiatives, along with education, advocacy, and outreach. For further details about the foundation and its endeavors, check www.fylf.org.
