J. Cole recently shared his debut mixtape The Come Up, Vol. 1 on all Digital Streaming Platforms, seventeen years after its release.
“The beginning,” Cole wrote on Instagram. “‘The Come Up’ finally available now on DSP’s.” The rapper shared the news alongside a picture of the mixtape’s cover art.
“17 years later. Better late than never. My brother @realcoleworld The Come Up out now on all DSP. This sh*t really started everything off… I’m about to shed a baby tear I’ll be back,” Cole’s longtime manager Ibrahim “Ib” Hamad posted on social media.
The mixtape features 17 tracks in all, including fan-favorites such as “School Daze,” “Simba” and “Dollar and a Dream.”
The release of the 2007 project to streaming services coincides with the launch of Cole’s new audio series “Inevitable,” the first episode of which focuses on The Come Up.
