Interzone: Peter Hook & The Light plus support confirmed for Scarborough Spa
For 2025, Interzone is heading to the seaside!! In a switch from its previous Newcastle city centre location organisers have confirmed the 2025 event will take place at Scarborough Spa, the Grade II listed building located right on the shore of the towns South Bay.

Hooky first performed as Peter Hook & The Light back in 2010 to appear as part of a commemorative charity concert, since that point the band have performed the material of Joy Division and New Order; they have toured the globe, and have dates later in August in Brazil and Mexico before heading north for an extensive US tour including a couple of Canadian dates, before returning to the UK for a further run of dates in October and November.
Supports for Interzone have been confirmed as The Wedding Present, the band recently completed the 30th Anniversary Watusi tour; a documentary of the tour is available on the bands website, in addition they have just released ‘Live 1994’ – this album features the band recorded live in concert at La Laiterie in Strasbourg, France on 16 December 1994.
The Farm have also been confirmed, the band are currently appearing across UK summer festivals including Stone Valley, Rewind, and Smile, with appearances at the Shiiine, and Heal festival still to come.
Spear Of Destiny have also been confirmed to appear at Interzone, the band fronted by founder Kirk Brandon are set to head out on a full tour to support the Skids on an extensive UK tour commencing in November, ahead of this Brandon has dates with Theatre Of Hate, and has just completed a short run with his first band The Pack including an incredible appearance at the recent Rebellion Festival (LTW Review).
