Gwen Stefani recently shared a new single, “Swallow My Tears,” as another preview of her upcoming album Bouquet.
The song, which follows previous singles “Purple Irises” and “Somebody Else’s,” finds Stefani reflecting on how a past relationship can impact a current one.
“The past keeps chasin’ me around/I thought I lost it but then it found me/Like it always does/Dragging me back to who I was,” she sings in the ballad. “Give me a second I need to swallow my tears.”
Bouquet is Stefani’s upcoming fifth studio album. It is expected to be released on November 15, 2024 through Interscope Records. The album serves as her first release since 2017’s You Make It Feel Like Christmas.
