In a bit of a random development, last week found Forbes compiling a list of heavy metal bands they feel have “made the most significant impact in the metal genre”, with the history of the genre as a whole being factored into the rankings. While it’s a surprisingly well-rounded list for a publication most widely known for business, markets and investing, there are certainly some divisive ranking selections for a few key artists.
