Arsenal have agreed a deal with Porto for the Portuguese side to re-sign Fabio Vieira on loan.
That’s according to reports from David Ornstein and The Athletic. Vieira, 24, has seen his squad status reduced at the Emirates Stadium this summer with Mikel Merino arriving from Real Sociedad in a marquee transfer and Ethan Nwaneri continuing his marked development.
Vieira signed for The Gunners from Porto for €35million in 2022. Since then, the midfielder has totted-up 49 games for Arsenal in all competitions, scoring three goals with nine assists.
The midfielder remains under contract until 2027 in north London. As things stand, there is no suggestion whether there is an option to buy included in his agreement.
