Don Felder Shares New Song ‘Hollywood Victim’ From Upcoming Album ‘The Vault’
Former Eagles guitarist Don Felder recently shared “Hollywood Victim,” the second track from his forthcoming solo album, The Vault – Fifty Years of Music, due out May 23.
According to a press release, “Hollywood Victim” serves “as a modern companion” to the classic Eagles song “Hotel California,” which Felder co-wrote with Don Henley and Glenn Frey.
The song was originally written in the early 1990s for the Eagles’ Hell Freezes Over tour.
The Vault – Fifty Years of Music, Felder’s fourth studio album, features a collection of newly recorded versions of songs he’s demoed over the past five decades.
The album features guest appearances by artists such as Toto‘s Steve Lukather, David Paich and Greg Phillinganes; Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith; and drummer Gregg Bissonette and his brother, bassist Matt Bissonette.
