Disturbed had a surprise in store for fans attending last night’s (March 08th) stop of the band’s “The Sickness” 25th anniversary tour. That hometown gig found the multi-platinum band welcoming back their original bassist “Steve “Fuzz” Kmak“, who parted ways with the band back in 2003.
Kmak was intimately familiar with the music from “The Sickness“, having performed on the album itself. His temporary return to the band saw him sit in for the portion of the last night’s set centered around that album at the United Center.
In related news, Disturbed vocalist David Draiman also hit the stage last night with openers Sevendust. He lent his pipes to a set closing performance of Sevendust‘s first single, 1997 “Black“. See below for fan-filmed footage.
While new material from Disturbed debuted online last month, a good chunk of their year will be focused on celebrating 25 years of “The Sickness” out on the road. The below dates have been booked for that, while an expanded 25th anniversary edition of that 5x multi-platinum album saw a release last week.
