Deion Sanders has become one of the biggest names in football, earning significant wealth through his playing and coaching career. Affectionately known as “Coach Prime,” Sanders is currently going viral for his luxurious backyard, designed in a way that surely contributed to the athletic success of his sons, Shedeur Sanders and Shilo Sanders.

The clip has been viewed over 3.4 million times, compiled over 12,000 likes, and has sparked plenty of reactions from fans.
“Dude’s backyard is a literal sports complex!” one user noted.
“Anyone who tells you money can’t buy happiness is lying,” another fan joked.
Deion, whose net worth is estimated at $45 million according to Celebrity Net Worth, is fresh off leading Colorado to its best season since 2016, finishing with a 9-4 record. Much of that success can be attributed to the play of expected first-round picks, Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter.
With both players set to enter the 2025 NFL Draft, Colorado will face a tough challenge maintaining its momentum in Sanders’ third year as head coach. To that end, the Hall of Fame cornerback — who earned an NFL Defensive Player of the Year award and eight All-Pro selections during his career — has added plenty of former NFL talent to his coaching staff. The latest hire is Hall of Fame running back Marshall Faulk.
However, one analyst believes Sanders’ time at Colorado could be cut short if his son, Shedeur, lands with the New York Giants.
Is Deion Sanders a ‘Coach in Waiting’ for the Giants?
According to NFL analyst Danny Perkins, if New York selects Shedeur, it could pave the way for Deion to make the jump to the NFL.
“Where should Shedeur Sanders go?” he asked on Colin Cowherd’s podcast.
“How far he falls? Is Deion Sanders, like, the coach in waiting? Like, does Shedeur Sanders fall to 21 and he goes to Pittsburgh, and he goes to Mike Tomlin and sits behind Aaron Rodgers? Then, they’re really d*** interesting. Or does he go to the Giants? And it feels like a mortal lock that Brian Daboll gets fired and they hire Deion Sanders. Pretty d*** interesting either way.”
The Giants hold the No. 3 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, and according to the latest PFSN mock draft, they are projected to select Sanders to solidify their quarterback position.
Latest Projections for Sanders’ NFL-Bound Sons, Colorado Players
In the latest 2025 NFL Mock Draft from PFSN, NFL Draft analyst Reese Decker projected Coach Prime’s son, Shedeur, to be drafted with the No. 3 pick by the Giants.
“The son of ‘Prime Time’ Deion Sanders, Shedeur has the traits and pedigree to be a franchise quarterback in the NFL — along with the personality to thrive in the Big Apple. He’s no stranger to the spotlight or lofty expectations. In fact, he craves it,” Decker said.
“Sanders has a live arm capable of layering throws with pinpoint accuracy. His strong, balanced lower body lets him fend off pressure and deliver precise off-platform throws. He’s comfortable operating within structure or improvising when needed. His pocket mobility, ability to extend plays with his legs, and toughness make him a natural fit for Big Blue.”
However, the excitement for Colorado does not end there, with Hunter coming off the board with the very next pick, landing with the New England Patriots at No. 4. “The 2024 Heisman Trophy winner was a dynamic presence on both offense and defense, and he could continue his two-way dominance in the NFL,” Decker said.
In the latest seven-round 2025 NFL Mock Draft from PFSN, Jacob Infante also projected that Colorado wide receiver Jimmy Horn Jr. would be selected in April’s draft, going to the Giants at No. 246 in the seventh round. Infante also paired Colorado’s QB with Big Blue, mocking a potential Sanders-Horn connection moving from Boulder, Colo., to East Rutherford, N.J.

There were a few other notable Colorado athletes — wide receivers LaJohntay Wester and Will Sheppard and safety Shilo Sanders — who were left off of Infante’s seven-rounder, though they could certainly be in the conversation as Day 3 selections.
While Colorado won’t be pushing for the title of the most selections in the 2025 NFL Draft out of one program, Coach Prime will likely be glued to the TV on all three days awaiting his Buffaloes to come off the board or be signed shortly afterward as priority free agents.
