D3lta: Signals
Single – Out Now
Digital
D3lta shares the raw and reflective new single Signals. A vibrant, driving example of pop-rock writing, the track brings infectious melodies and intimate vocals which contrast against the driving guitar led backdrop.
The solo project of Anglo-Greek Robert Coustas, D3lta has a rich history of success having opened for the likes of London Grammar and most recently, a UK tour with Scouting For Girls.
The new single Signals offers emotionally charged songwriting with a relatable edge thanks to its melancholic, heartfelt lyricism. Produced by Ian Davenport (Supergrass, Philip Selway) and mixed by Barny Barnicott (Sam Fender, Kasabian), the track captures the pain of unrequited love, a theme D3lta delivers with his signature passion.
Capturing a stadium worthy, anthemic glow thanks to the driving indie backdrop of distorted guitars, punching drums and grounding bass, D3lta’s effortlessly charismatic and heartfelt vocal delivery shines bright as it moves from the understated, delicate delivery of the verse to the soaring chorus. With some beautifully placed lead guitar melodies which compliment the main vocal melody and subtle synths which add an expansive width to the soundscape, the track is an exciting and radio ready addition to D3lta’s catalogue.
“Signals is about the disconnect in a relationship,” D3lta explains. “It’s the first time I recorded with the band I’ve been touring with, and you can really feel our chemistry—it has such a raw, live energy.”
