Chimaira‘s forthcoming live performance on this year’s ‘Headbanger’s Boat‘ will take place without programmer/vocalist, etc. Chris Spicuzza. In his place will be his previous replacement: Sean Zatorsky. It was Zatorsky who held down that role in the band upon Spicuzza‘s original departure from the band back in 2011.
The reunited Ohioan groove metallers are set to begin rehearsals for that cruise this week. The Lamb Of God-headlined high seas adventure will set sail on October 28th from Miami, FL. Chimaira commented of this reunion today, October 07th:
“Sean Z, @seanzscreams, will handle keyboard duties for Spicuzza on the @headbangersboat . Spicuzza cannot attend but has been working hard to prepare Z to ensure a killer performance.
Sean toured with Chimaira as the keyboardist and backing vocals from 2011 to 2014 and can be heard on the Crown of Phantoms LP.
