Saturday 7th June is the day some of us have earmarked to spend at Esquires in Bedford to soak in what could be the strongest line up yet for Ceremony Festival since it began five years ago.
Two stages and a nice welcoming outside area to chat, drink or eat from one of the food stalls make this a simple relaxing day out, and for music fans living in central London the train back at the end of the day makes this a convenience worth noting.
From the rowdy onslaught that Gurriers are guaranteed to provide, the foot tapping, lovable Good Health Good Wealth, to the quirky Welly and My First Time; and from the compelling Honesty to Enjoyable Listens and Picture Parlour. Bands who, alongside one or two new names we’re getting familiar with for the first time, will make this another day out that many of us are beginning to include as an annual event before the camping gear comes out and the walk between stages is a lot more than just a flight of stairs.
Tickets are running low already so be quick – join us there for what is always a wonderful occasion to witness.
Here’s a playlist of what to expect

A Plea From Louder Than War
Louder Than War is run by a small but dedicated independent team, and we rely on the small amount of money we generate to keep the site running smoothly. Any money we do get is not lining the pockets of oligarchs or mad-cap billionaires dictating what our journalists are allowed to think and write, or hungry shareholders. We know times are tough, and we want to continue bringing you news on the most interesting releases, the latest gigs and anything else that tickles our fancy. We are not driven by profit, just pure enthusiasm for a scene that each and every one of us is passionate about.
To us, music and culture are eveything, without them, our very souls shrivel and die. We do not charge artists for the exposure we give them and to many, what we do is absolutely vital. Subscribing to one of our paid tiers takes just a minute, and each sign-up makes a huge impact, helping to keep the flame of independent music burning! Please click the button below to help.
