BTS‘ Jin recently released a new single, “I’ll Be There,” which will feature on his upcoming debut solo album, Happy.
“I’ll Be There,” which mixes 1960s bubblegum rock and modern dance pop, sees Jin singing, “I swear that I will always sing for you/ Sing for you, oh-oh-oh/ I’ll be there for you” in the chorus.
The accompanying video shows Jin singing the tune in a parking lot under a bridge backed by a live band, with young skaters and other fans pulling up to witness the impromptu performance.
Jin, wearing jeans and a blue cardigan and rocking some stick-on jewels under his right eye, strikes a series of rock star poses against the bright blue sky.
The track “conveys a sincere message, aiming to uplift those who feel downhearted and alone by delivering joy through Jin’s playful yet straightforward style,” according to a release.
Jin co-produced the track alongside American singer-songwriter MAX.
Other songs that feature on the 6-track Happy album, which is due out on November 15th, are “Running Wild,” “Another Level,” “Falling,” “Heart on the Window” featuring WENDY and “I will come to you.”
