
The gears are turning on Incubus‘ ninth studio album. The multi-platinum alternative rock band’s vocalist Brandon Boyd revealed last month that the effort was already tracked, mixed and mastered, with only the artwork remaining. Now, in a newly shared post on social media earlier today (April 24th), Boyd shared that they are already showing off this next full-length to individuals outside the Incubus camp. Boyd stated:
“We @IncubusBand sat in a room filled with relative strangers today and did a playback of our new album. It was my first time listening to our new music through other peoples ears and it was kind of fun! So This means we’ll have a first single coming shortly and an album release date soon. See you guys in London on Saturday!”
In Boyd‘s above-mentioned conversation he stated that the group were at the time tentatively eyeing an October release for this new outing, with singles planned to arrive ahead of time. It is unclear if that timeline is still in play. Live plans are however underway and run as follows:
