Multi-platinum and Grammy-nominated rapper Big Sean recently released a video for “It Is What It Is,” featuring Gunna.
The video, directed by Diego Cruz, shows Sean and Gunna rapping against various urban backdrops around Los Angeles.
“Face all on the front page, I don’t give a f**** about no backlash / I’ve been backstabbed and laughed at / We gon’ see who gets the f*****’ last laugh,” they rap.
The visual also shows the two rappers leaning against an SUV. They are also seen flexing in a train yard, while Sean delivers his verse hanging out the window of the SUV.
“It Is What It Is” is the seventh song from Sean’s 21-track sixth studio album Better Me Than You, which arrived August 30 via Def Jam Recordings. The record showcases Big Sean’s lyrical depth while embracing the complexity and joy of the human experience.
