Tony’s radio journey is a tapestry woven from the vibrant threads of Huntington, Long Island. A graduate of John Glenn High School and SUNY@ Oswego, he emerged with a BA in Communications, ready to embark on a remarkable career. His initial stint at 95.3 WHFM saw him as a Production Director and Afternoon Host, setting the stage for a trajectory that led to WBAB, where he served as Production Director, weekday fill-in host, and weekend personality.
In 1999, WRCN beckoned, and Tony’s versatile talents found expression as he became Production Director, Afternoon Drive Host, and later, Morning Host. A multi-award-winning producer and writer of radio commercials, Tony’s expertise extended to handling traffic reports for Metro Traffic, The Traffic and Weather Channel, and News 12, Long Island.
Adding to his colorful resume, Tony spent three seasons as a part-time PA announcer for the New York Rangers at the “World’s Most Famous Arena.” A New Jersey resident, he contributed over eight years to 103.7 WNNJ and 105.5 WDHA. Now, as a valuable addition to NEWHD New York, Tony brings his seasoned expertise to various shifts, promising an exciting chapter in his ever-evolving radio odyssey.
