Scot Apathy is a veteran of Internet Entertainment, and was the first Web Jock for CBS Radio at New Rock 98.5 KOME in the Silicon Valley just as the Internet took off. From there, he was involved in creating Web content and platforms for Pitbull, Alphonso Johnson and The Black Eyed Peas, which led to Universal Music’s Dipdive social platform and the release of Obama’s ‘Yes We Can’ video for will.i.am.
Apathy hosts “Z-GR! Radio” on NEWHD, broadcasting on NEWHD Los Angeles on Fridays at 7PM PST and again on NEWHD New York on Saturdays at 9PM EST. His hour-long show spotlights Worldwide emerging talent, and while leaning into electronic rock, synthwave and retrowave, Apathy asserts that “there are no genre limitations – the qualification for inclusion is that the tracks sound awesome. I have no doubt that you’ll find a new favorite artist during each show.”
Apathy is the lead vocalist and half of Silicon Valley’s Zero-G Racetrack, who have released multiple singles on Royale Music, including a powerhouse electro-rock version of Lady Gaga’s ‘Bad Romance’ and ‘I Think You’re Beautiful’ a Retro-Synth Pop anthem that is generating excitement worldwide. Zero-G Racetrack’s entire library is available on all major streaming services, with their debut album set for a mid-2024 release.
