Chris Tesort, the host of the Veterans Classic, has a compelling journey that intertwines his passions for technology, music, and service. Born in Owensboro, KY, and raised in Indiana, Chris graduated from Boonville High School with a deep interest in computers, learning C++ programming, web design, and Novell Networking. His love for music was kindled at eighteen when he first played guitar, drawing inspiration from bands like Metallica and Iron Maiden.
A fan of concerts, sports, video games, and cosplay, Chris’s diverse interests are a testament to his dynamic personality. At twenty-three, he joined the US Army as a light-wheeled vehicle mechanic, serving honorably at Fort Campbell, KY, until 2011. Post-military, Chris pursued an IT degree and developed websites, including for the Veteran’s Association.
His recent autism diagnosis has been an empowering discovery, leading him to broadcasting on Venue Radio.
