It seems that Alpha Wolf bassist/vocalist John Arnold has allegedly fired a shot towards his ex-bandmate in Aidan Ellaz Holmes. Aidan previously fronted Alpha Wolf from 2016-2018. His exit from the band followed an allegation of sexual misconduct being launched against him.
Legal action was said to have been taken, with the charges against Holmes reportedly having later been dropped due to lack of evidence. At the time, Alpha Wolf were also removed from a tour with Polaris in light of the backlash and controversy.
While Alpha Wolf, went on to recruit vocalist Lochie Keogh, Holmes would launch the band Dealer. That outfit underwent a lineup implosion in 2020, amid allegations of mental abuse being lobbed by ex-members of the group towards an unnamed member of their roster.
Earlier today, November 18th, Dealer were announced as an opening act on Attila, Oceano and Nathan James‘ ‘American Rejects Tour‘. Given the timing, current fan speculation is that trek is what seemingly compelled Arnold to make the following post on his social media:
“HAHAHAHA
I was going to say some shit about the rapist abuser tour
But that shit tour is soooo embarrassing and pathetic it’s all speaking for itself
If you’re from the states and follow me on here. I’d like to think your genuine enough to value the women in your life and not support the cesspool tour
Anyone and everyone involved are fucking morons and will be burning so many bridges.”
Attila frontman Chris Fronzak was an early proponent of Dealer, signing them to his Stay Sick Recordings label. Holmes has since rebuilt the lineup of Dealer several times, most recently rebuilding the entire roster from the ground up this year.
