A performance video for “Staring At The Sun” from UK-based melodic metalcore group Acres has received its online premiere. This song appears as the third track on the group’s forthcoming album “The Host“. It is also the second single to see release from that effort overall. Vocalist Ben Lumber commented:
“‘Staring at the Sun‘ is a classic miserable Acres love song. The record goes in a brand new direction, but we wanted a few songs to nod to our roots with remnants of our old vibe. It’s about not being able to let go of someone or something who has a hold over you.”
Solid State Records will have “The Host” out on May 02nd.
