5 Seconds Of Summer’s Calum Hood Announces Solo Album, Shares Lead Single
5 Seconds Of Summer‘s Calum Hood has announced a solo album and shared its lead single, titled “Don’t Forget You Love Me.”
The song is described as the emotional cornerstone of the 10-track album, ORDER chaos ORDER, which is scheduled to be released on June 13.
“This album was made in a tumble dryer of knowing and not knowing,” Hood explains. “I started out with a vision—order—but quickly became overwhelmed by the process—chaos. Eventually, I learned to embrace both, and that balance became the heart of the record.”
“There are things I’ve never been able to sing about in the band—my upbringing, my family, the places life has taken me,” the 5 Seconds Of Summer bassist and vocalist adds. “This album is about laying those things to rest and allowing listeners to connect in their own way.”
All other members of the Australian pop rock band – lead guitarist Michael Clifford, drummer Ashton Irwin and vocalist and rhythm guitarist Luke Hemmings – have released solo albums.
