Melkbelly’s Miranda Winters just recently announced her debut solo album as Mandy, and now the band have two songs out too. Both are punky, catchy, ’90s-style alt-rock songs.

SOFIA BOLT – “BUS SONG” FT. STELLA DONNELLY
French-born musician, songwriter, and producer Amelie Rousseaux is releasing her second album as Sofia Bolt, Vendredi Minuit, on May 10 via Born Losers, and the latest single, the sax-sweetened “Bus Song,” features Stella Donnelly.

LOST DOG STREET BAND – “SURVIVED”
Alt-country band Lost Dog Street Band have shared the title track from their upcoming album Survived, and both the song and its video tell a heartbreaking tale of addiction.

East Coast rappers IDK and Joey Bada$$ team up for a nostalgia-inducing dose of chipmunk soul.

EAT DEFEAT – “SLIP THROUGH THE CRACKS”
UK pop punks Eat Defeat have announced a new LP, My Money’s On Me, due May 10 via ska label Bad Time Records’ punk imprint Uncle Style Records. If you like the classic Epitaph/Fat era of skate punk, you might dig this too.

BLU DETIGER – “DISAPPEARING” FT. MAGDALENA BAY
Pop artist Blu DeTiger released her debut album, All I Ever Want Is Everything, today via Capitol Records, and “Disappearing” features Magdalena Bay, who also co-produced the airy electro-pop track with Blu.

Toronto death metal trio Adversarial will release their first album in nine years, Solitude with the Eternal, on May 31 via Dark Descent. It’s been a minute, but the time away hasn’t made them any less brutal.

Tzompantli, the death metal/death-doom project of Xibalba’s Brian Ortiz, has announced a new album, Beating the Drums of Ancestral Force, due May 17 via 20 Buck Spin. Here’s the riotous lead single.

COURTING – “BATTLE”
Liverpool quartet Courting released their new album New Last Name today and with it this new single. “‘Battle’ is the final song from the New Last Name recording sessions which didn’t make it onto the album,” the band say, “because we couldn’t posthumously weave a theatrical narrative into it.”
